The staff is really really nice and helpful! They upgraded me upon arrival, even though I had just booked hours before because another hotel gad scammed me. They were very friendly, always helpful and gave good recommendations. The hotel itself is nice, the room is worth the price for Hanoi price level. Location is directly in the old quarter, so you are within walking distance e.g. to the water puppet theater.

Charming and unusual decor compared to most hotels in different and vibrant colors. A power point was loose on the wall and a staff member came to fix it straight away. A staff member brought us and our suitcases in the heat from another hotel we left early from on his motor bike very efficiently and smoothly. Very central location in the Old Quarter and staff were alwayd helpful in arranging tours.

We have been travelling for a couple of weeks now and found the Madelise to have been the best hotel we have stayed in so far. The rooms are lovely, clean and all of the extras (water, towels etc) are restocked each day. We had intended to only stay two nights but extended for an additional day. The location is super as you can reach all of the landmarks and markets very easily. It’s also very quiet, even though it’s close to everything you will need. Staff were very friendly and helpful - they couldn’t have done anything extra! We used both their car service and laundry service while staying, all provided wonderfully. If we return to Hanoi, this will be the only place we will stay!

Top of the list is Hana. She was absolutely fantastic. The literal definition of customer service. She helped us so much with organising trips, where to go, what to see and she was so genuine about it all. She is an absolute gem for the hotel. This doesn't detract from the others at the hotel, who were also so friendly and so helpful, I just have to give a special mention to Hana. The location is absolutely fantastic as well, you are within walking distance of everything in the old quarter. Room was clean and everything worked perfectly in the room.

The location was good. All staff are friendly and very informative. The Front Desk staff is very helpful especially Ms. Hanna. She have been very helpful answering my queries via whats app even though my travelling have not started yet. Makes me feels at ease before starting my travel. Mr. Alan provide very informative to us.

This hotel was such a bargain! Such good value for money and the bed was super soft and comfortable. Everything spotless and well maintained. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and it's a great location without being in a too hectic area.

The hotel is in the heart of the old town. It is a tranquil oasis amidst the rush and noise of Hanoi. We were very well looked after and the staff helped in all sorts of ways including sorting out an excellent trip to Ho Long bay. There is an excellent night market on weekends almost outside the front door.

Staff was very freindly and very helpful. Ms. Hana has arrange everything with the support of her team mates.she can speak good english which is a plus point. met the owner also, nice person. hotel interior very nicely done. facilties were there as per expectation. Best is the friendly staff who work 24 hour. love the spirit of them. I was taken care of one of their family members. Love the hospitality. I would recommend any person to go for this hotel as rates are much reasonable.
